What if I forgot my password?
After you add an item and click “check out” you can click on the link that says “Retrieve Password” and your password will be sent to the email address on file.

How will my order ship?
To protect your valuable merchandise, all orders are shipped by USPS Registered Insured Mail with Restricted Delivery. For security purposes, the credit card holder must show photo ID to take delivery of the package.
Can I ship to a different address than my billing address?
We can only ship to the verified credit card billing address. If you want to ship to any address other than the billing address, call your credit card company and add the alternative address to your credit card account before placing your order.
When will I receive my order?
Orders will be processed within 2 business days for all in-stock items. Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery on all orders, subject to USPS schedules.
Can I check the status of my order?
Once your order has been processed, you will be e-mailed a tracking number with a link so that you can track your package in real-time. You can access information for all your transactions through the My Account link under the My Account Menu. Here you can view all your orders, obtain tracking information, and make updates to your information. You could also manage your Wishlist and see any reviews you had made!
How do I change or cancel an order?
Please call us immediately at 619 299-1500 or email us. Be aware that some orders are shipped immediately upon placement, and Leo Hamel Fine Jewelers can only change or cancel orders prior to shipment. We do accept returns for up to 10 days in the event that you have changed your mind about your order; however once an order has shipped we will not be able to refund shipping charges.
What is your refund policy?
We accept returns or exchanges on any purchase within 10 days of the purchase date. All items must be returned unworn, undamaged and with a copy of the original receipt. All accessories including boxes, tags, and warranty or instructions booklets must be returned intact. You must purchase adequate insurance for any return shipments; we cannot be responsible for return packages that are lost in the mail. We recommend using USPS Registered Insured Mail for all returns.
We will refund shipping charges for any item that is returned due to manufacturer’s defects.
Any returned item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts may result in a restocking fee of up to 50% of the purchase price.
What is your warranty on purchases?
- New watches - New watches come with a factory warranty for 1 to 2 years depending on the brand. Specific details about what is covered and not covered under warranty can be found on the warranty card and/or user’s manual. Watches are sent directly to the factory for any warranty repair.
- Pre-Owned watches - We offer a 2-year warranty on time keeping and parts on our pre-owned watches. Warranty does not cover dents and dings, chipped crystals, or any damage resulting from accidents or misuse such as dropping the watch, leaving the crown open, unauthorized repairs, alterations or manipulations. This warranty does not cover the bracelet or the strap.
- New jewelry - We offer a 1-year warranty on new jewelry that covers any manufacturer defects. Warranty does not cover misuse, normal or excessive wear and tear, or faulty repair work done by another jeweler. To maintain the warranty you must bring the jewelry in every 6 months for a complimentary cleaning and checkup.
- Vintage jewelry - We offer a 1-year warranty on vintage jewelry that covers abnormal stone loss, breakage or other problems due to manufacturing or repair defects. Warranty does not cover misuse, normal or excessive wear and tear, or faulty repair work done by another jeweler. To maintain the warranty you must bring the jewelry in every 4 months for a complimentary cleaning and checkup.
What if my ring or watch needs to be sized?
If you bring your ring into our store, our jewelers will usually size it free of charge (some restrictions apply, contact your sales associate for details). We can also size watch bracelets and add or remove links.
How can I ensure that my jewelry continues to look its best?
We want your jewelry to always look as dazzling as when you first purchased it. For as long as you own jewelry purchased here, we will clean it, polish it, and check for any loose or chipped stones free of charge. We will check for worn prongs and tighten loose prongs free of charge whenever possible.
What if my jewelry or watch gets scratched or damaged?
Our expert jewelers offer professional repair and refurbishing in our store. We can make your jewelry or watch look like new again! Come in or contact your sales associate for details.
