History of Tissot
It was in the Neuchâtel area of the Jura Mountains, in Le Locle, Switzerland, that Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile created the watch making company TISSOT in 1853.
Driven by a remarkable innovative spirit and a pronounced taste for skilled craftsmanship, the two founders brought with them a
strong company culture.
Throughout its history, TISSOT has created products that never fail to attract attention, both in watch
making circles and among the general public.
Whether in the technology of its movements, in the research for special materials or in the very functions of the watch itself, its engineers and watchmakers developed models that were pioneers of their kind.
A member of the Swatch Group since 1985, the colours of TISSOT are today present in over 140 countries, via carefully selected retailers.
By their competence and determination, they inject dynamism into the brand amid other great names of international watch making.
