Congratulations to our customers Austin & Jessica for winning JIC’s Ultimate Proposal Contest, a nationwide search for the best engagement story. America voted, and it was Austin and Jessica’s romantic tale that won the 7-night Caribbean cruise, plus stunning platinum and diamond wedding bands.  Austin had purchased a beautiful antique style engagement ring from Lisa Hamel, and then concocted an elaborate plan to propose to Jessica in a very memorable way. In homage to their mutual love of sailing, Austin had the words “Marry Me” painted on the spinnaker of a sailboat. He took the unsuspecting Jessica for a stroll along the water’s edge and as the boat sailed past right in front of them, she turned around to find Austin on bended knee holding her ring.  Of course, she said, “YES!”  We wish Austin and Jessica a long and prosperous future together!
